The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Video

The Utility Reform Network (TURN) is a nonprofit organization committed to advocating for affordable and reliable utility services for every California resident. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a federal initiative, plays a pivotal role in bridging the digital divide by enhancing accessibility to broadband and high-speed internet. As the producer and editor, I've crafted a comprehensive four-part video series to convey this crucial message, with two parts tailored for an English-speaking audience and two for a Spanish-speaking audience (Spanish version yet to be released). Dynamic motion graphics and carefully selected music are seamlessly integrated, maintaining a consistent design aligned with TURN's branding to engage and inform viewers. Inclusivity is a priority, as closed captions were added to make the content accessible to a diverse audience. The creation process involved a blend of software applications, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Keynote, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Essential equipment, including two Sony camcorder, multiple LED lights, and Lava Mics were used to bring this project to fruition.
